Introduction of Program: Paul Irish

Fellow Rotarian Jim Wilkinson talked to the club about his Veritek Companies.

Veritek, Inc. focuses on clean coal energy, carbon capture, and metals extraction. It’s “advanced nano-technology in a macro world.”

Veritek Emp Inc. focuses on engineering, product development prototypes, medical products, public radio, electronics, firearms, and manufacturing of firearms.

EMP was founded in 1987 and reorganized in 2012. This company was redirected to focus on manufacturing, engineering, prototypes, 3D printing, and product development.

A few of the products scheduled to launch include a flag light, carpenter level, sticky light/water battery, and the TV Bumblebee, an antenna device. Wilkinson has been able to access eight channels in Laramie using the TV Bumblebee.

eWavetek was created in 2012 for medical products. This company has seen slow, steady growth.

Wyoming Communications works within a vision for increased public safety support, gunsmithing, and general electronics.

Wilkinson Tactical was created in 2016 with a focus on firearms. Its main product is a 12-gauge shotgun. Wilkinson also hopes to one day start a shooting sports academy, which would be designed to train customers for safety when purchasing firearms.

Veritek relocated to Laramie in 2015. Wilkinson is the company founder. He holds over 100 patents and has 35+ years of experience in product development and manufacturing.

Wilkinson has authored over 22 books and papers. Several of his works focus on the coaching and mentoring of new inventors. One such work is “The Practical Inventor,” a book designed to help new inventors help themselves to strategically create and disseminate a new product.

Wilkinson has many goals moving forward. He is going to launch the shotgun, design a dedicated manufacturing campus, create a product resource center, and launch nano-technology.
